Privacy Policy

Closer is operated by GOOSEBUMPS LLC. We collect only the information needed to run the paired relationship app: account access, couple pairing, private answers, notes, memories, notifications, subscriptions, and basic product analytics.

Information We Collect

• Name, email address, user ID, and display preferences from Sign in with Apple, Supabase authentication, and onboarding.
• Relationship content you create, including answers, notes, memories, activity state, and recap data.
• Device tokens for Apple Push Notification service delivery.
• Purchase and entitlement state through RevenueCat and the App Store.
• Product interaction and crash diagnostics through PostHog and platform diagnostics. We do not enable advertising tracking, session replay, screen recording, or element autocapture.

How We Use Information

We use this information for app functionality: authentication, pairing partners, protecting locked answers until both people respond, syncing memories and notes, sending requested notifications, restoring subscriptions, improving reliability, and providing support.

Services

Closer uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, row-level security, and edge functions; RevenueCat for subscription entitlement verification; PostHog for privacy-limited product analytics; and Apple Push Notification service for partner and recap notifications.

Sharing and Tracking

We do not sell personal information and do not use collected data for third-party advertising or tracking. Your private relationship content is intended only for the authenticated account or active couple permitted by Closer's access rules.

Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account in the app. Deletion removes account-owned app data according to Closer's account deletion flow, except information retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal, or App Store transaction records.
